So many of you legends have messaged me with amazing ideas of random things to paint so I’ve done what I said I’d never do again (classic Sophie) I’ve opened my commissions up for the first time in 5 YEARS. Think random little ornaments, trinkets, objects - the kind of things that sit on shelves and collect stories.
When you order, just tell me in the special instructions box at checkout what you want painted, and we’ll chat after so you can send references and we can properly collaborate on it. I want to do your little treasures justice!!!
Basically, you decide the object, I’ll turn it into something you can keep forever.

BRIC-A-BRAC MYSTERY COMMISSION
For the first time in 5 years I'm taking a limited number of commissions for a one-off, original oil painting of a bric-a-brac object of your choice.
Your piece will be hand-painted in oil on a 12" x 16" canvas, framed in a professionally handmade frame, and created especially for you.
Tell me in the 'special instructions' box at checkout what piece of bric-a-brac you’d like painted and I’ll turn it into a little oil-painted relic to forever remind you of something special to you. We'll be in touch after your order to ask you more about how you'd like your piece to look (then you can send reference photos, etc.) - I want us to collaborate on this and do your treasures justice!!!

Because this is a custom commission, it takes a bit longer - we’ll be working with you to make sure you're happy with the finished piece (no rushing perfection).
By purchasing, you confirm that you are happy to wait until the latest date of September 2026 to receive your painting.
We will only accept commissions that depict singular, still-life style images of your Bric-a-Brac items (style depicted in paintings lower down on this page as a reference).
After your purchase, we will be in touch via email to discuss your piece with you - you can send reference photographs at this stage.
We did it - I’m officially the first artist ever to launch my art live on TikTok Shop, which is honestly iconic. The collection I launched is called Bric-a-Brac and is a series of oil paintings inspired by random items you'd find in a charity shop, which obviously I love x
The paintings are about finding beauty in the random everyday bits and bobs people overlook, but I actually had a much wider mission with this project.
My hope is that by selling my work on the platform, I can help open the door further for other artists to sell their work independently on social media. The traditional art world isn’t the only path anymore - artists can build their own ecosystems and connect directly with the people who support their work.
